With so many astonishing sights and activities in Croatia and Slovenia, it is a challenge to select the top highlights for our clients. While the Intours DMC range of incentive programs is both innovative and unparalled in the region, here are our top 5 experiences of which we are most proud.

1. ETHNO-DISCOVERY KONAVLE, DUBROVNIK REGION
With most tourists exploring the old walls of Dubrovnik, Intours takes you south toward the Montenegrin border, to one of Croatia’s most traditional and least discovered regions: Konavle. Rich in heritage and still practising the art of many ancient customs, your visit to Konavle is a step back in time to a world of living traditions, handicrafts, folklore, folk costumes and warm uncomplicated hospitality. Learn the secrets of lindjo folklore dancing, embroidery, painting on silk and preparing traditional suites, before picking organic ingredients as you prepare an authentic traditional Dalmatian lunch. Traditional Dalmatia away from the crowds at its very best.

2. PAKLENI ISLAND GETAWAYS, ISLAND OF HVAR
As if the gorgeous town of Hvar did not have it all! Located in front of this impressive Venetian harbour town are a collection of emerald jewels called the Pakleni Islands, an ideal sailing paradise, whose existence is due to a secret love between Poseidon and a nymph. The islands, a celebrity hideaway paradise, are yours to explore by speedboat from your hotel and with plenty of hidden bays and coves to discover, you will quickly realise why the Pakleni Islands are considered one of the top treasures of the Adriatic. There an array of activity choices await, from kayaking, snorkelling, water-skiing to water-tubing and driving speedboats on a ‘polygon’.

3. SEA KAYAKING IN ISTRIA
The stunning Istrian peninsula is famous for its hilltop villages and historic coastal towns, but few visitors combine this with one of Croatia’s increasingly popular activities: sea kayaking. There is surely no better location to explore by kayak than the Rovinj archipelago, a stunning collection of 22 islands and reefs close to the historic town of the same name. Kayaking offers an intimacy with destination as well as a privileged access to gems such as Red Island, St. Katarina, Maskin and Sturag. On these islands the guests can enjoy various Istrian delicacies, while olive oil and wine tasting await them back on the mainland to compliment to a picturesque day of discovery.

4. OFF ROAD 4X4 RACING PROGRAM
Looking to test your driving skills in wild and unchartered territory? The Intours Jeep Adventure will have you racing through rough terrain in south-eastern Slovenia where most visitors never travel. Set your own levels of adrenaline, from blind driving and rescue vehicles in mud to abseiling 70 metres from a natural bridge and treasure hunting in a natural park. This is truly adrenaline Europe off the beaten path.

5. OLD TIMER RALLY FROM LJUBLJANA TO THE ADRIATIC COASTLINE
Discover the raw beauty and diversity of one of Europe’s smaller but most spectacular countries – Slovenia. And what better style for your journey than on an old-timer rally from the historic capital of Ljubljana to the Adriatic coast. Head off on your voyage into the unknown with your specially prepared roadbook to guide you through small Karst villages offering authentic local delicacies, then continue down to a trademark Adriatic sunset before an exclusive dinner in a private square of a small coastal fishing town.
