Amarin Rovinj

Rovinj is simply put the most beautiful and charming city in Istria. This is not entirely a subjective claim, as The National Geographic Books, which in 2015 released the book “Destinations of a Lifetime”, placed Rovinj (as the only Croatian destination) on the list of one of the 225 world’s most amazing places. And this amazing city has also amazing touristic facilities. Just last year two hotels with 5 stars were built in Rovinj and this summer it will proudly inaugurate the new 4 floor hotel complex extending over 22,000 square meters.

Amarin Hotel is located on a peninsula, four kilometers away and north from the city centre, near the tourist resort Amarin. Due to the peaceful location, kilometers of beaches and greenery that surrounds it, it is conceived as the perfect location for a carefree family vacation.

The new 4 star family hotel Amarin is built on the site of the former Valdaliso hotel (bulit in 1980) that was razed to the ground last year and will offer a variety of entertainment facilities. Beside creative playgrounds and playrooms inside and outside the hotel, Amarin will offer a special program carefully designed for the whole family. The complex will also feature a wellness and spa zone, mini adrenaline park, educational trails in the near pine forests and four restaurants with special menus for children. The hotel will have 280 room units with sizes from 28 to 47 square meters which can accommodate approximately 560 guests.

For the past year the foundations for the hotel Amarin represented the biggest construction site in Istria and also represents the biggest touristic investments yet. 300 million Croatian kuna (38.910.00 EUR) were intended for this hotel project, which was entirely financed by the leading hotel company in Croatia, Maistra.

With no doubt, this luxurious but an “all year round guarantee fun and adventure” touristic complex will raise the popularity and the family friendly aspect of Rovinj, where since 2007 the construction of hotels is steadily increasing, but luckily does not interfere and influences the authentic charm of Rovinj’s old town and harbor.
