Warm temperatures and the summer breeze bring new energy to the coastline of Slovenia and with that a fresh approach to meetings and events

Slovenia’s coastline offers a great variety of interesting events popping out and the diversity of guests coming to this place, makes it a unique place to be right now.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT WAS DISCUSSED AT THE FIRST SEERC CONFERENCE IN GH BERNARDIN

At the beginning of June GH Bernardin hosted first South East European Regional Cigre Conference (SEERC), which took place between 7th and 8th of June.

The first day of the conference was reserved for academic meetings and discusions, with keynote speakers from Slovenian and European Academies of Science and Arts, accompanied with representatives of Universities from Slovenia, Italy, Ukraine, Serbia and Turkey.

The day was filled with future plans for international technical system development up to year 2030. The main forum was lead by Dr. Igor Papič, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engeneering.

The second day was divided into 4 key topics, covering regional energy and environmental policy; submarine cable and environmental issues; regional energy market aspects and innovation and infrastructure in the region.
