From 2nd June 2016 the UberX service is also available in Dubrovnik and Split and they offer passengers a free ride to have the whole Uber experience till 5th June.


After October 2015 that Uber arrived in Croatia, precisely in Zagreb, on 2nd June 2016 worldwide company launched the service UberX also in Dubrovnik and Split. The two cities will join 450 cities all over the world that use the mobile service for transport that wherever it appears crashes the costs of the classic taxis. According to first evaluations, prices at UberX services will be from 20 to 50 percent cheaper than classic transport prices. The UberX service in Split will be available through whole year and in Dubrovnik through main season (from June to October). Millions of local residents and tourist in those two cities will now have the possibility to use one of the most cost-effective and safest worldwide known forms of travel through the city service of transport with a simple touch screen smart phone.

We have already been operating more than six months in Zagreb and offer a safe, reliable and affordable transportation option through the site. And user response is fantastic! Today we make move forward to a point that our services are available on national level: we are introducing the licensed service uberX in Split and Dubrovnik.”
