During his 2 day visit to Croatia the Hollywood actor Brad Pitt stayed for one night in one of the D-Resort exclusive villas. Less than a year since its opening, D-Resort Šibenik truly turned into a destination for the most demanding guests with last year guest Qatar’s Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani.

The actor visited Croatia for a brief tour of the site of proposed luxury development in Zablaće, estimated to cost more than $1.5 billion, that would transform this small town into “a modern ecologically-responsible planned community. Off course all this strengthen the rumours about his investment in building this new luxury resort on the Adriatic coast. Who knows, maybe he will follow the footsteps of his colleague actors and invest in tourism, like Robert De Niro, who already opened The Greenwich Hotel in New York and earlier this year announced the opening of a boutique hotel in London’s Covent Garden or Leonardo DiCaprio who revealed last year his plans to build a multimillion dollar eco-tourism resort designed to help transform a small island off the coast of Belize.
The famous Hollywood actor already visited Croatia together with his actress wife Angelina Jolie and their children and accordingly described Croatia as “the most beautiful country he has ever visited”. And he is not the only one – many famous people visited Croatian coast in the last years and fell in love with this Adriatic pearl, from Ivanka and Ivana Trump, colleague Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon, singer Beyonce and her rapper husband Jay Z and many others.
