Kenes Group, a leading Professional Conference Organizer (PCO) and Association Management Company (AMC), has kicked-off the season with a new Business Development (BD) blueprint. The changes come from the newly employed Global Director Business Development – Marlies Steinebach-Verstoep, who joins Kenes after more than 11 years in the Business Development Leadership at RAI Amsterdam.

From the beginning of 2016, Kenes Group has taken firm steps towards growing its team with a diverse set of talents. After observing the positive feedback of the industry and clients on employing a full-time Meeting Architect, Kenes Group looked into developing its BD Team together with a proven leader in this area. Marlies previously headed the Business Development team of RAI Amsterdam is commonly recognized as one of the top business development professionals in the industry. This is an exciting time for us at Kenes and we are thrilled that a forward-thinking professional as Marlies is taking the lead of our very capable team. Having all this talent working together we are sure that they can set new highs not only for Kenes Group but for the industry as well” commented Iftah Amit, VP Global Sales & Marketing.

Kenes Group is set to develop a future-proof business. Well thought out strategic steps taken towards a geographic expansion, as well as increasing the skills-set of the team, complement the development of the company. Kenes clients can now enjoy a number of new or improved solutions at more locations. The company has a stellar track record with more than 100 returning and long-term clients, and this is due to the successful team working across the globe. With the welcoming of Marlies, Kenes is taking one more step towards securing its leading industry position.
