People are the carriers of experience
Q: The readers of Kongres magazine chose you as one of the most influential people in the South East European Meetings industry. What does this recognition mean to you?
We do our best to be innovative and to bring fresh ideas to our industry on a regular basis. A recognition of such an established magazine means a great deal to us, especially because it means that our hard work gets noticed also by the media.
Q: If you look back at the 2016, what would you say were your major achievements?
Firstly, we had an impressive number of teambuilding events executed abroad – Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and Croatia, this for sure we consider as quite an achievement. We sure are proud to be able to share more and more of our knowledge about the industry with the international community. Also, it is nice to see that our decision to dedicate our work towards the development of new programs on an international level was the right one. Many of our clients organize corporate events for their international subsidiaries and would like to have the same type of event and the same trusted partner to execute them in different countries. And we’re happy that we can help them with our international presence.
Yet regardless of the complexity or scope of our projects we dedicate the majority of our focus to experiential learning, “hands on” participation based team events and implementation of client’s corporate messages and vision in the core of the executed programs. This makes our work unique as well as constant thrill for our team.
Q: 3. 2017 – New Year, new plans, new business objectives?
Well, while maintaining high standards and setting some new trends, we will continue our work in the CE and SEE region and never forget the core focus I mentioned above.
Q: Which event are you looking forward to attend next year and why?
We are pleased to be able to announce that Teambuilding Academy TBA will host the Eurozone meeting of Catalyst Global network in 2017. The worldwide network of high quality teambuilding providers will have its summit in Slovenia for the first time and we will use this opportunity to present Slovenia as a great place for congress tourism. One of the main topics of the Catalyst Eurozone Summit will also be setting new, higher standards for event management in terms of teambuilding programs in Europe and across.
Q: Which trends do you believe will shape the meetings industry in 2017?
Firstly, the implementation of new technologies in any aspects is for sure one of the most evident trends in our industry. However, it up to us to utilise it in the right way, without losing focus on an individual participant, no matter how big the group is. We always consider the people to be the carriers of the experience, it is people who take that experience and implement it in their daily work. This is somehow connected to another trend: we see that client’s demands for inclusion of team-based elements in all aspects of event management is getting more important every year. It is great to see that business environment in our region is finally starting to recognize that teamwork is strategically important part of HR in any modern and future oriented company.
Q: What is your wish for 2017?
It is very simple. My wish is that our team will maintain the high quality work we do in helping people learn how to work better together. And in that way support the corporate world with proper understanding of the strategic importance of teamwork as a prosperous priority.
