The partnership announcement follows a series of successful projects including most recently at CES in Las Vegas (5th-8th January 2017), where ITN deployed its BTAG offering for on demand digital content delivery to exhibitors, the BTAG 3G, which is powered by Poken’s NFC 3G smart reader.

Top technology brands NXP, Ericsson, and CTA equipped their stands and meeting rooms with BTAG 3G readers, allowing visitors to collect digital content and interact with exhibits. Attendees used the ITN NFC enabled badge technology to tap a BTAG and in real-time receive content tailored to their request.

Over the past 18 years, ITN has equipped hundreds of shows with digital NFC enabled badges, empowering exhibitors to perform fast and secure lead retrieval. Expanding on this digital interactive experience, ITN now boasts the capability to deploy BTAGs at events using Poken’s technology that expands the experience for participants and exhibitors with real-time data communication.  BTAG self-service NFC Infospots allow visitors to decide which content to collect, where and when, as they complete their journey through an exhibition or association conference.

Stéphane Doutriaux, CEO of Poken, comments: “We always seek to work with partners who are best-in-breed and offer complementary solutions. ITN International and Poken have worked hand-in-hand since 2014, catering to top clients in Europe and the USA, so this partnership is a natural progression for what we have observed to be great market demand for leading-edge digital event services.”

Ivan Lazarev, CEO at ITN International, adds:In past years, using Poken’s tools has boosted interactivity and engagement in some of the leading shows we’ve catered to, including the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam. We feel that providing greater utility to participants who can review their event journey online, during and after the show is key to the future of trade shows. Forming the right partnerships to deliver at the highest level is a key to our continued success. We welcome the opportunity to use Poken technologies as part of our BTAG event tool offering.”
