Rovinj, Adriatic pearl and one of the most known Croatian tourist gem will welcome Polo lovers from all over the world in the second Rovinj Beach Polo Cup, held from 18th to 21st May 2017. The city, which is also known as the Number One Croatian congress destination has in recent years also marked its way to become a luxury and elite tourist destination with some of their latest events that brought more high level guests to Rovinj.
Second Rovinj Beach Polo Cup will be held from 18th to 21st May 2017 at the Rovinj Porton Biondi beach. May is also the month before their main summer season which attracts every year more and more guests to the city and its vicinity and this kind of event makes the most out of otherwise off season. Rovinj Beach Polo Cup ranks Rovinj and Croatia among top quality polo destinations such as Dubai, New York and Miami, thus significantly contributes to recognition of Rovinj as a luxury and elite destinations. At the same time the event increases the number of overnight stays in the period prior to the season in the accommodation facilities of the highest category, hotels with four and five stars, and brings large number of public celebrities from Croatian and abroad to Rovinj.
This year’s Rovinj Beach Polo Cup brings many new features – citizens and visitors will be able to follow the daily tournament games and entertainment programme from the audience stand set in polo arena, due to the increased number of registered polo teams also the number of games increased to 6 teams with players from different parts of the world. And of course, let’s not forget about the entertainment programme which is very important at this kind of events – the main star will be the former singer of Spandau Ballet – Tony Hadley, who will hold a concert in former TDR.
