All the fashionistas are discovering what is fashionable for this season at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana, an International premium fashion week, known also as the MBFWLJ. From 4th to 6th April, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre presented itself as an ad hoc venue for this fashionable IT event of the season.

A few years ago, Ljubljana joined the rest of the world with organizing fashion week event, with goal to present the fashion trends, introduce new fashion designers and serve as a fashion hub for everybody connected to fashion industry. The event was more than happily accepted, since nowadays many known and young fashion designers have so little chances to introduce themselves to the wider audience. In that reason, the event is becoming more and more popular and on the other side, the organizers thrive to exceed the audience’s expectation providing spectacles and exclusively presenting some of the best regional fashion.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana is the licensed format that, together with local skills and project partners, contributes to the visibility of fashion design and promotion of new and creative solutions. It is a great opportunity for local fashion designers and artists to present themselves to the international arena connoisseurs of fashion, publicists, commentators, stylists and buyers. Stars of MBFWLJ are international award-winning designers. For the first time, GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre with their Marmorna Hall, was the venue of this fashion event, hosting the whole event that presented some of the best Slovenian and European fashion designers, including Akultura, Atelier Terra Urbana, Cliché Shop Gallery, DALPAOS, Draž, IVANMAN, JSP, Kaja Hrovat, Marjeta Grošelj, Milica Vukadinovic, Tanja Zorn, TWINS by Begović & Štimac, Peter Movrin, SENS, SofiaNogard, SUSNYARA, XD Xenia Design, Squat and many more.

Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital attracts more and more business and leisure guests and the city certainly needs this kind of events which contribute to development of this creative industry. GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre with their slogan “365 days of events”, continue to maintain the highest position as the venue provider for various events in Slovenia and the number of confirmed events by this time of the year already exceeds the number of last year events, with many successful events already behind them – like a few days ago, the 24th Slovenian Motor Car fair, that attracted more than 75,000 visitors.
