As a student of Faculty of Economics Ljubljana, I was doing many different jobs, mostly in manufacturing companies (Sales department, Purchasing department, HR department). Later on, I got a steady job in one of these companies as commercialist in Sales department, which gave me a lot of opportunities to meet new people. But I always wanted to work in event industry, so when the opportunity came up, I didn’t hesitate.
Q: What is your favorite meetings brand?
Does the moto »Don’t stress, relax, GR does the rest.« ring any bell? I hope it does.
In the Events & Congress department at GR, we truly make our clients witness that moto. We spice it up with a smile on our faces, which is not hard if you love your job and have great team members.
Q: What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
Bravery has so many meanings. For me, working in this business and not panicking means being brave. My colleagues say that panic is not my middle name. Not at work and not at crime books that I love.
Q: What’s your alternative career fantasy?
Since I am a fan of crime books, I have imagined being a writer of this genre, but somehow writing should include working with people. I definitely don’t see myself as a lonesome writer
Q: What are you obsessed with at the moment?
I do not have an obsession, but I have a dog, which I love. We have our morning walks that help me with the “zillion” things that I have to manage for aside projects, enjoying in a beautiful nature with my eyes opened, facing the many challenges not present at the walk.
Q: Your goals before 50?
Staying positive, keep smiling, being surrounded with people I love, having the morning walks.
