Q: What is your favourite meetings brand?
I believe that Cubo brand has a great potential to grow and evolve. I really hope that Hotel CUBO together with all the new ideas and properties (Hotel CUBO Alp Resort and CUBO village) will become one of the larger hotel brands in Slovenia, which will offer several meeting and accommodation possibilities in the heart of the city of Ljubljana and outside.
Q: What’s the bravest thing you’ve ever done?
Probably moving at the age of 18 from a big city, Moscow and leaving everything behind to move to Ljubljana. It was not easy to be in a new country without family, friends and not knowing the Slovenian language. But I am really proud of myself, because I am sure, that it was a very good life decision.
Q: What’s your alternative career fantasy?
My plans were a little different at first. I wanted to work as a biochemist, but due to my allergies was not meant to be. However, I love the industry I am working in, meeting new people from all over the world, working with great business partners, colleagues from the tourism industry and to be a part of a CUBO team. I have started working at Cubo only a few months after the opening. For me, Hotel CUBO is the starting point of my career and I am looking forward to new challenges.
Q: What are you obsessed with at the moment?
At the moment I am obsessed with my work. Hotel CUBO not only offers accommodation, culinary services and meeting facilities, we offer and fulfil a variety of client’s wishes and expectations, through personalised service. With two new meeting spaces that were just added to our offer, my work is becoming even more exciting.
Q: Your goals before 50?
To find time for family, friends, work, hobbies and be successful in all is a hard work, but that’s my goal.
