four-seasons

The project will start at the end of 2017 and will be located in the bay of Brizenica, Hvar

The leading luxury hotel chain Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and one of the world’s leading investment banks Arqaam Capital presented the Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences project in Zagreb.

Construction is said to begin at the end of 2017 on the island of Hvar and is expected to finish in 2019. With the very successful year 2016 behind them, the country is developing and greatly renovating its existing infrastructure and hotel capacities, focusing on high-quality tourism, to attract even more high-end tourist. Simply put, Croatia is emerging as one of Europe’s fastest growing tourism markets. That is the reason Four Seasons Resort and Private Residences decided to jump into this opportunity and a project worth nearly 1 Billion Croatian Kuna.

This will also be the first Four Season Resort on the Adriatic Coast. Located at the longest and sunniest Croatian island Hvar, the unique complex in the bay of Brizenica will include a 5 * hotel with 120 rooms, about 100 luxury villas and apartments, open and closed swimming pools, its own private bay, a top spa and fitness center, several restaurants and bars, congress halls, and Seaports.

The project will bring together world-class architects and designers from famous houses such as Gensler Architects, Scott Brownrigg, Richmond Hospitality Design and Tihany Design. The entire project is led by the world-renowned MACE. It is the first of its kind in Croatia and represents a major step towards satisfying guests with high demands and putting the island of Hvar on a global map of luxury destinations.

Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli:
” This extremely important project, or almost a Billion Kuna investment, will be of great importance to Stari Grad on the island of Hvar as well as for the entire country. The island of Hvar will provide the necessary quality accommodation facilities, which will certainly stimulate further investment in additional facilities, thus enabling further development of tourism on the island of Hvar. This is also an opportunity for the local tourist community, to begin with, the complete management of the destination and thus make the island of Hvar a top quality destination. As an island, I am particularly pleased to see that the potential of our islands has been recognized and would be delighted to make such investments on my island as well. This investment would certainly trigger other potential investors to turn larger Attention and look for opportunities for investment on the island of Hvar, Split-Dalmatia County and in general in our country”.

Simon Casson, hotel director of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa:

“Every guest will experience an unforgettable experience, fully in line with the highest standards of the Four Seasons hotel chain. From luxurious rooms featuring Richmond design studios, top-notch private beaches to complementary services provided by Four Seasons.”
