On 22nd May 2017, Serbian capital Belgrade, hot meeting spot destination welcomed regional and international guests to celebrate this special moment with 10 Years of Serbia Convention Bureau celebrating its jubilee and a marvellous gala dinner at Hyatt Regency Belgrade. Bringing together the most important stakeholders and partners who have contributed to the positioning of Serbia as a recognizable destination for congress and other business events and CB representatives thanking them gracefully for being a part of their story so far and hoping to be also a part of their future.
Gala dinner anniversary event guests included representatives of public and academic institutions in the field of tourism and hospitality industry, scientific community, as well as representatives of hotels, specialized DMC and PCO travel agencies and other service providers. Acting Managing Director of the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia, Mrs. Marija Labović and representative of Serbia Convention Bureau, Mr. Igor Kovačević, proved to be professionals working in the meeting industry, the industry that praises itself on the moto “business is personal”, welcoming each and every guest at the gala dinner. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the participants were welcomed by representatives of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Ms. Renata Pindžo, Deputy Minister, and in front of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Ms. Ana Ilić, from the Cabinet of the Minister.
