GENERAL

Q: What do you love about your job the most?

Facing new challenges every day, along with making things happen and being inspired by people I appreciate are the things I love most about my job. I would say that being the Secretary General in the Ministry of Tourism is a very demanding job. But since I’ve always been good enough to solve difficult equations, I really enjoy it.

Q: Where do you see the biggest opportunity in marketing and MICE industry?

Opportunities rise every day. What looks like an opportunity today, may not be one tomorrow. I believe that the key is being authentic and really support what you are promoting with your heart and mind. Every market is different and if your product is good enough there would be a niche for all it’s potential segments.

Q: How do you deal with marketing jungle on daily basis?

A jungle is a jungle. The most important is to stay alive, while you’re trying to find your way through the jungle, even if you sometimes need to find a shelter. I manage to “survive” by really committing to what I believe, by keeping it simple and by being authentic.

Q: How did the best events you attended so far make you feel?

The best events gave me new ideas, inspiration and passion. They made me more enthusiastic and more optimistic about the future.

PERSONAL – BACKGROUND

Q: Looking at your bucket list, what is the one thing that you really wish to cross off until the end of 2017?

Bucket list? Is there such a thing?!

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or dead), who would you have dinner with and why?

This is a tricky one: there are so many options. However, being a musician myself, I would like to have dinner with one of my favorite rock guitarists: David Gilmour from the Pink Floyd.

CROSSOVER CONFERENCE

Q: What would you share with our participants if you would have only one minute?

I am sure you all know Greece, our history and unique culture, our amazing islands and beaches. But most of all, Greece is its people: our natural way of welcoming, our charming lifestyle, the way we make guests feel home-away-from-home. I invite you to come and see for yourself.

Q: What are you bringing to Conventa Crossover?

I am bringing knowledge, experience and passion; eagerness to meet and mingle with interested, talented and friendly people. I am really looking forward to it.
