On 25th and 26th of October, the traditional meeting of Croatian tourist workers and stakeholders, that each year gathers more than 1000 participants, will be held in Mali Lošinj. The meeting is organized by the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the Croatian Tourist Board.
Tourism minister Gari Cappelli: “We plan to continue to develop our tourism and keep excellent results, follow the tourist trends and adapt to the new challenges. I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to host world-renowned tourism experts. I believe that we will use this opportunity to achieve even better results through sharing and exchange of experiences and ideas. We will continue to support tourism on the Croatian islands, but will focus also on the continental part of our country.”
Theme of the conference is sustainable development, given that 2017 was declared “International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development” by the United Nations. Conference will bring exciting topics such as world tourism trends, national tourist brands, role of national tourist organizations etc.
