The service, with a 6-week frequency, will be operated by Embraer 190 (E90) aircraft with a planned capacity of 98 passengers on 5 work days and by Embraer 170 (E70) with a planned capacity of 76 seats on Sundays. Both types of aircraft feature Club Europe and Euro Traveller Classes. Flights to London City Airport, connected with the city centre by means of public transport, will take about 2 hours.

The new service will complement the existing British Airways flights to London Heathrow, serviced by the carrier up to five times a day. Effective 29 October 2017, the day of the effect of the winter schedule, Prague will get a brand-new connection with the financial centre of London which could become popular with business travellers, too. It is expected that the route will be used by around 50 thousand passengers a year in both directions, based on the aircraft load factor.

More information about the new route can be found here.
