This autumn, the renowned Slovenian dancers of Latin and standard dances return to the stage boards of the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom, leading Slovenian congress and cultural centre, located right in the centre of Ljubljana. Dance Amore is a refurbished and upgraded dance show titled “The 50’s show” which has sold out Gallus Hall six times some years ago and the remake will serve the spectators with a varied stage design, glamorous costumes, picked dance steps and excellent choreography. After ten years, they will perform again an attractive dance performance, which represents the upgrade of The 50’s show. The dancers, led by Andrej Škufca, Domen Valič and Jagoda Batagelj, will without a doubt win the Slovenian audience with dance show “Dance Amore”.
Domen Valič, the screenwriter and narrator of the story: “Dance Amore will be a top-of-the-line show and I believe that people will love to watch it and on the other hand, we will love to play it very much. Added value is that show dancers will join dancers of standard and Latin American dances and I don’t know if this has ever happened”.
“Dance Amore is very dynamic, we will take viewers from lively rhythms to calm, emotional scenes. Dance spectacle will lead you to the tears of laughter and sadness, feelings of happiness and guilt. Emotions that cannot be experienced when watching movies or reading books. And that’s exactly what we want to give to our audience, “says Tjaša Žibert, who will present her seductive Miss Simone.
