The 21-storey hotel has 165 rooms, including a 160 square meters presidential suite, a swimming pool, saunas and fitness on the 18th floor, and the B restaurant & bar. The highest building in Ljubljana has 23,400 square meters of space and it was built in 18 months for 50 million EUR.

The hotel meets the highest standards and expectations of its guests, said the Intercontinental Hotels Group chief executive for Europe Angela Brav, adding that the hotel welcomed the first guests only a few weeks ago, but is already been receiving the highest guest ratings. Currently, there are 183 hotels worldwide in the Intercontinental chain.

The goal of the Serbian investment company Delta is to attract to Ljubljana a new profile of guests who look for the highest standards. These are the guests who are accustomed to the quality of elite hotel chains, such as Intercontinental, but up until now, there were no such suitable facilities in the city available. According to plans, the investment is to be repaid in eight to nine years, but due to higher demand than expected, the investor predicts this could have happened much earlier on.
