What makes the Conventa trade show and our methodology so special is how we create the meeting space – our aim is to meet up in a so-called ‘festival environment’, in a living-room style set-up geared to create a relaxed atmosphere. We also steer towards the most efficient use of time with our presentation methods and formats, such as Pecha Kucha. Our goal is to properly excite participants, as they are the future ambassadors of this new way of event organisation in a meetings industry that badly needs a revolution, otherwise, new generations might just swap clone meetings for virtual reality, and even a virtual future altogether. Furthermore, we shine a light on how best to make your events more interesting, different and efficient.

The pursuit of our goal to meet in a venue that will astound – but still offer that warm, homely feel – is a giant step from the fatigued, auto-format meetings and one-way presentations. With that in mind, it’s no wonder then that we decided to get together a bit out of the city centre, in an industrial area where a magnificent but abandoned industrial factory has been turned into a brewery: The Garden Brewery.

The Garden Brewery team revived the industrial area of Zagreb by putting a production facility into this newly renovated venue. It is now a place where you can have a craft beer straight from the source and enjoy some delicious burgers made by Submarine, the best in town, in fact, prepared from organic local beef and garnished with local cheese and veggies.

We make our meetings a pleasant and relaxed environment for good networking, kicking off with an “official” opening and a few short presentations before continuing to a beer & burger tasting. Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this kind gathering? We thought as much – so be sure to register here and get ready to meet with us, to toast with us and to soak up some bold ideas that are awaiting you.

Speakers and presentations yet tba, so keep in touch!
