At Event Masters, a new department has recently been added. New, but nonetheless one with more than 20 years of experience to unpack! For the Event Management agency from Willebroek, the PCO department is the missing piece of the puzzle in their total approach to events, thus guaranteeing their 360° approach.
Event Masters is an agency that offers an increasingly broad range of services from the event management sector. Demand for the organisation of (international) congresses has been rising within the sector. With Jan Van den Broeck as PCO Manager, Event Masters has been able to respond to the need. ‘PCO is the perfect supplement to the range at Event Masters,’ explained CEO Bert Knuts. ‘Jan Van den Broeck, who is a household name in our sector, is bringing at least 20 years of experience to Event Masters. We had been looking for a suitable person to fill this role for quite some time; it felt like a missing link when dealing with our increasingly large number of international clients. Furthermore, we already organise a great many conferences for our corporate clients, so the PCO concept is not completely new to us.’
The PCO team will work in close collaboration with all the other services (team building, tailor-made events, destination management and incentives) to approach meetings, congresses and conferences in the creative and distinctive manner that is characteristic of Event Masters. ‘This means doing away with the traditional paths and launching a completely new congress experience,’ says Bert Knuts decisively.
It is this approach that convinced Jan Van den Broeck to become part of the story. “I’ve already been organising congresses and conferences for a long time. I was responsible for a PCO and DMC agency in Brussels. But I had been looking for an innovative approach to make congresses more attractive for the participants and organisers. With Event Masters, we have the possibility of realising this and approaching projects in a much more creative manner. With the broad in-house knowledge, we have the ability to respond quickly, guaranteeing a full 360° approach. Team building, gala dinners, graphic design, our own audiovisual material, registration solutions, DMC services, 2000m² of warehousing … We have it all,’” says Jan Van den Broeck.
