The annual Eventdesign book presents a selection of outstanding creative highlights of the German event and Live-marketing industry. This year’s publication highlights the ever increasing role of intersecting real and virtual experiences in events.
Two especially impressive featured examples of interconnecting real and virtual, are two projects of International event specialists VOK DAMS: one for mobility powerhouse BMW Group, and the other for IBM.
The BMW Group event “THE NEXT 100 YEARS” was an impressive technical feat and a highly emotional brand experience, with an amalgamation of staging, people, vehicles and media. A multidimensional celebration of 100 years BMW by looking into the future of the brand. This ‘one of a kind’ event was awarded with a Guinness World record for the “highest resolution projected image”.
Creation of an innovative client experience was the key objective of the work on the new global headquarters of IBM’s Internet of Things business unit in Munich. VOK DAMS – together with Universal Design Studio and Map Project Office – designed and created the Client Experience Zones and Lobby in Munich’s iconic Highlight Towers building.
