In the beginning of November, Sarajevo hosted the second regional innovation forum named Sarajevo Unlimited.
The three-day conference gathered all the relevant institutions, companies, organisations, startups and investors in order to promote the business and startup innovations. This way the talents and innovative solutions as additions to the existing business ideas get promoted while the potential partnerships between companies and investors are born.
This year’s Sarajevo Unlimited received applications from more than hundred startups, gathered participants from more than 20 countries, and more than 3000 visitors followed the program of the forum. The award for the most innovative company was given to a BH startup – Ministry of Programming. While Koola was the winner of Startup Battle where 20 best startups from the region, which passed the first round of selections in October, presented their ideas. And last, but not the least, as the mascot of EYOF 2019 Groodvey from East Sarajevo’s’ agency Visia was awarded.
The program, that took place in five locations, consisted of eight panels, six keynote speakers, eights ‘Skills of Tomorrow’ workshops, a B2B Bisnode event that gathered 90 companies and resulted in 12 agreements, etc.
Next year, as the organisers announced, the third edition of Sarajevo Unlimited will be executed and will present another opportunity for talents and innovative projects to meet with partners and investors.
