The magnificent hotel on Slovenian coast is being closed between 21 January 2018 until Saturday, 3 March 2018 in order to undergo renovation.

According to the hotel’s announcment, the year 2017 was a big success and the hotel is looking forward to hosting new congress guests in March. The spring comeback will be full of new energy, new special offers and new experiences prepared for events.

Event organisers are still able to book the spring visit to Portorož, as the Reservations, Sales and Marketing, and Groups & Events Teams are remaining to assist them and to prepare for them their personal, tailor-made offer.

With its 130 years tradition of tourism, Portorož is a very popular and recognised MICE destination due to its climate, cultural diversity and rich history. The Slovenian coast, and the city of Portorož, lie on the Gulf of Trieste, an organic part of the Adriatic Sea. An expensive yet detailed and thorough renovation of the secessionist Hotel Kempinski Palace and several historic buildings have ensured that the historic glamour of Portorož can still be felt today.

The Kempinski Palace Portorož is an excellent congress hotel. With experience in incentive travel, conferences and complicated corporate events, it has set new standards and its prestigious congress and banquet hall, the Crystal Hall Ballroom, assures high-class luxury. The first five-star superior hotel in Slovenia boasts a very calming, modern and prestigious design with a unique style that accentuates the hotel’s historic legendary character and Habsburg elegance.
