euromic, the association representing the leading Events and Destination Management Companies (DMC) has announced the departure of their long-standing Executive Director, Christophe Verstraete. The Board of Directors is searching for a suitable replacement for Christophe’s role.  Christophe is staying on through to the end of July 2018 to ensure a smooth transition.


 On his resignation, Christophe explained, “It’s been a privilege to serve euromic and its members. At this stage in the Association’s evolution, I feel it is the right time to step down, even if it wasn’t an easy decision. This is without doubt the most engaging and interesting job I have ever had. I am grateful for the 18 fantastic years that I have spent at the helm of euromic and for all the wonderful relationships, both professionally and privately, that I have developed with euromic’s members. I’ve highly enjoyed working with this amazing group of people from all over the world. I am proud of euromic’s accomplishments during my tenure as we have expanded to members in 54 countries.  While thanking the Board to their support over the years, I am now ready to start a new professional chapter and wish euromic and its members the very best for the future.”

euromic is looking for a new Executive Director to work with the euromic Board to co-create and drive forward a future vision for the organization. The job vacancy has been published on the euromic website: www.euromic.com/executive director_search.  The role is located in Europe and can be flexible in the country of location.
