Q: Why have you entered the Conventa Best Event Award competition?
We were delighted to take part at Conventa Best Event Award competition, because it was a great opportunity to present the Festival of Lights – one of the new projects we have started in Zagreb. Our main task is to create reason why people love to visit Zagreb, by giving them various yet highly qualitative events. Generally it is a B2C project, but it is also a great event that can be used as a part of an incentive program.
Q: What does it mean to you that your event has been selected among the finalists for the Conventa Best Event Award?
It means a great deal to us since that was the unique opportunity to present such a project in front of the meetings industry audience and to get more visibility. Even though we are professionals it is nice when your work is acknowledged among colleagues and it keeps us going in creating year by year even more great events that will enrich Zagreb offer and help us position even better on the events map in Europe.
Q: What is your secret recipe for a successful and effective event?
There is actually no secret recipe. The most important is to have the idea and dedicated team who will develop it aiming for perfection. Attention to details in every aspect of organization is extremely important in execution of such event. Our planning of such events lasts for months and we go through detail over and over until they are polished to perfection. Also, we always work with those professionals who share our enthusiasm so we can be sure that the final product will be perfect event to remember.
Q: If you had unlimited resources and a client who would say ‘yes’ to everything, what kind of event would you have organised?
That would be quite challenging. But you might need to wait for the forthcoming year to see what we are preparing. Although our resources, except ideas, are not unlimited we are already preparing some more interesting events that will make Zagreb attractive destination choice throughout the whole year.
