Q: Why have you entered the Conventa Best Event Award competition?

NLB Business forum is a B2B event for NLB’s key SME clients, organized for the 5th consecutive year. We have seen that each event leads to new business opportunities, it enables building long-term relationships with clients and gets high retention rate of attendees. Each year we are facing the challenge of building on the foundation of previous successful events. And since our attendees have rated this year’s NLB Business forum very high we figured that we can now finally show what and how we are managing the B2B communication in our bank. It was no brainer that Conventa Best Event Award is the right place to do it.

Q: What does it mean to you that your event has been selected among the finalists for the Conventa Best Event Award?

Only two years after we reorganized our communication team in order to be more effective in reaching the right target audience with the right messages in the best possible way, it is important to get a confirmation of good work from the industry best. Being selected among the finalists is a motivation for our future projects to be even more focused on innovation and creativity in combination with relevant content that supports our daily business, banking.

Q: What is your secret recipe for a successful and effective event?

The recipe lies in motivated and balanced team. Trust that is given to project manager usually generates best ideas and perfected execution and the result are clients with all advice and support they need to be better. In business and in private lives. We aim to prepare them for everything that may follow. Even with business events we organize for them.

Q: If you had unlimited resources and a client who would say ‘yes’ to everything, what kind of event would you have organised?

A new NLB is a modern bank with top knowledge and experience, focused on its clients. All our events aim for originality and creativity with substantial focus on added value for all attendees. We are fortunate that all that doesn’t rely on the budget but more on people that are behind the organization of the event itself.
