LOCATION
SNG Maribor is the oldest cultural institution in the city of Maribor and in north-eastern Slovenia. It is situated in the old town centre, at the beautiful square Slomškov trg Square which boasts a cathedral and a park. Today, SNG Maribor presents the largest cultural and artistic institute in Slovenia, organised into five units: Theatre, Opera, Ballet, Symphonic Orchestra, and the Borštnik Festival.
VENUE ADVANTAGES
Kazinska dvorana Hall, dating back to 1865, is considered to be one of the most beautiful halls in Slovenia. The hall has 180 theatre style seats that can be also completely removed. In its empty capacity, the hall can be filled with tables or it can host a standing event like a gala reception or banquet. The hall has already been a venue for high-level governmental events as well as for EU events on a ministerial level like a meeting of European ministers of agriculture in 2008.
