The Edi Simčič winery and the estate boast an incredibly stylish and modern cellar, as well as an impressive degustation room. The goal of the owners was not only to impress wine lovers, who come for wine tastings but also to attract guests, who are looking for special event venues or businessmen, who want to impress their business partners.
The story of Edi Simčič Wines tells itself, it flows, as it is packaged in attractive, renovated spaces. The architecture studio plusminus30 used traditional materials, making sure the guest feels homely and warm, while looking over the Goriška Brda vineyards from the degustation room. To make the inside blend with the outside, they built a terrace with the same functionality as the indoor spaces. The cellar is below ground, serving the wine well, while still being designed in line with the newest architectural trends. Authentic dishes from across Slovenia are being served, washed down by the top-notch wine. They established synergy, selling excellent wine and presenting the region with great cuisine, a wholesome experience not to be missed.
