Croatian inventor Mate Rimac, the man behind Concept One – the world’s first electric super car – has officially launched his new project RIMAC GREYP G12

The Greyp G-12 bike, marketed as the ‘ world’s most advanced electric bicycle’, has now hit the market, and it has a swish new promotional video to aid its entry.

Rimac’s Greyp Bikes will be a cross between a motorcycle and a bicycle and will have a loads of interesting features, from fingerprint recognition ignition starting, to its smart phone integratio via 3G connection. Greyp Bikes will be able to reach speeds of up to 65 km/h and be able to travel upto 120 kilometres depending on the type of travel. Unlike his Concept One electric super car, Rimac plans to produce the Greyp Bikes to a wider market, with various models available.

The Greyp G12 Electric Bike is fitted with a state-of-the art battery-pack, designed and manufactured by Rimac Automobili offering 1,3 kWh of battery power, which can be recharged from 0 to 100 percent in only 80 minutes from a mains 220 volt socket and include and onboard computer and dashboard system to keep you informed on your batteries life and performance offering Street, Eco and Power modes.
