The annual European Meetings & Event Conference (EMEC 2017) was held this year from 5th until the 7th of March in one of the main conference centers of Spain, the Palacio de Congresos in Granada. The 3-day conference was featured on relevant education, networking, and business exchange for the meetings industry. EMEC provides attendees with outstanding networking and marketplace opportunities for conducting business.
Granada has served as a lively and inviting destination for numerous conferences, conventions and incentive trips, thanks to the local environment, professionalism of the venues and warmth of the people. The city’s conference centre, the Palacio de Congresos, is located in the center of the city with more than 4.000 hotel rooms within walking distance.
As Paul Van Deventer, president and CEO of MPI said, the destination was chosen for its rich history, beautiful landscape and accessibility, which made a great choice for EMEC 2017. Congress organizers and meeting planners are more than thrilled with Granada, since it has proven to be an excellent host.
We can guarantee you; this year’s EMEC 2017 was all about connecting and learning together. Attendees got the most out of the conference experience by attending the education sessions and executive track; learning how to prepare for a perfect pitch and got the immersive experience outside of the congress centre and “the box”.
