Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA) has organized free educational workshops “Technology trends in the meetings industry”, on 21st in Zagreb and 22nd March 2017 in Dubrovnik, together with the Croatian Tourist Board, the Tourist Board of Zagreb and Dubrovnik Tourist Board. The workshops were intended for all professionals and all working in the Croatian meetings industry, interested in gaining knowledge about technological trends in the industry, which most definitely are influencing our professional and also personal lives.
Some of best Croatian experts in the field of technology and communication spoke about:
- the general trends of technology today,
- which applications are most popular in organizing business event,
- how to adapt WiFi requirements to the client,
- how technology can help you with more efficient work in the office and sales, etc.

The MICE industry has evolved in recent years and the countries politics recognize its role with many recent events, from reopening of Croatian Convention Bureau to supporting the Croatian Meetings Professionals Association with their goal to educate meetings industry professionals through their certification programme – in last 2 years, they announced 59 certified Meeting and Event Professionals. Croatian Meeting Professionals Association (CMPA) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2011, the premier professional association for meetings, incentives and event organisers in Croatia that works closely with Croatian National Tourist Board, Croatian Convention & Incentive Bureau and Croatian Association of Travel Agents in developing Croatia into an international meetings and events destination.
