About Lučka

The Nobel Peace Prize Winner, climatologist and Professor Dr Lučka Kajfež Bogataj put into context how the global changes we are facing today, impact the society. She also demonstrated the implications of climate change not only on the environment, but also on national and international security issues which is crucial for the meetings industry.

The Association Meetings Programme is designed to informally network with ICCA Members and Association Executives and learn from each other and the top faculty of experts about bidding, designing, organising and promoting international association meetings. It took place in the beautiful capital of Slovenia: Ljubljana from 9-11 July.
