The winner of the Bea World Grand Prix 2018 is...

Google Home Training by Laqshya Live Experiences (India)

Being a relatively new product category altogether, consumers and front-line staff alike would have many questions. So if promoters were to be adequately informed, they needed to know the product first-hand. What Laqshya Live Experiences did was replicating the ‘Escape Room’ format on ground. Without prior notice, mobile phones and devices were taken away from the attendees before they entered the venue, and all exits sealed. The only way out of the event was by navigating the training with the help of Google Home.

And the Second Prize goes to…

Mercedes #24ride by JAD Productions (Czech Republic)

#24RIDE, the first ever 24-hour livestream game show, announced the launch of new Mercedes-Benz A-Class. 12 participants drove 20 influencers through 9 cities while getting tasks from mission control. Anyone could join this trip because the car and all stops were wired with cameras and broadcast on YouTube & Facebook. Livestream viewers could win one of 200 prizes, including a new A-Class. KPIs: reach of 400.000 people, target audience of 25-34 years old, NPS of 9, increase client’s social media audience.

And the Third Prize goes to…

Equal Streets by Laqshya Live Experiences (India) for Times of India

Equal Streets was the first-of-its-kind sustained community movement that Mumbai has ever seen. It made space for citizens to step out and enjoy the outdoors in an otherwise cramped city. Equal Streets gave every Mumbaikar access to open spaces on Sunday mornings. Activities like yoga, zumba & street dancing were conducted among a host of other healthy and engaging initiatives like walking, cycling, games, hopscotch, arts, etc. making it something that people of all ages noticed.
