The hotel was built in 1989, precisely 30 years ago, for governmental reasons, and was known under the name of Forum Hotel Bratislava. In 2005 it went through a renovation, and even got a new name – the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The hotel was built in a U shape and therefore offers a 360° degrees views of Bratislava.

Meetings & events fascilities
The hotel offers 14 contemporary conference and meeting rooms, that can host up to 800 delegates, covering an area of 1200sqm. The rooms are perfect for a broad range of events, from lectures, meetings, board meetings, product launches with space for exhibitors to stylish banquets or glittering balls. The sizes of the meeting rooms are ranging from 26 to a maximum of 350 guests.
The largest meeting room – London, can be divided in to 3 smaller meeting rooms which allow 3 identical or 3 different formats. When rooms are combined the London has a capacity of up to 350 delegates in theatre style.
The circular meeting room – Rome – is the second biggest meeting room with capacity 140 delegates in theatre style. London and Rome are mostly used for conferences, product launches and as exhibit space.
The other meeting rooms are on the ground level and the first floor, suitable for board meetings, small training sessions and workshops. All foyers spaces, on each floor, are available for refreshments and have daylight.

Dining
Crowne Plaza is the first hotel in Bratislava presenting a whole new menu with the fewest allergens! Á la carte menu is based on gluten-free meals connected with classic and international cuisine. The focus is also on the use of local ingredients, which are always freshly prepared. During most of the year we use products from our herb garden on the summer terrace.
