The third year of the largest event festival in the Czech Republic, Event Fest, will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Event professionals and enthusiasts will meet in the Cubex Centre Prague and the City Conference Centre on a total area of more than 3,500 m2. Last year the festival welcomed more than 1,300 visitors. This year, the all-day festival will be divided into the Expo part and the international conference Event Vision.

“We are pleased that according to feedback, the event makes sense and that the event community is made up of people who want to meet live. Our goal is for Event Fest to continue and grow, showcasing trends, news and opportunities for the event business. From previous years, we know that active supplier presentations bring visitors new contacts and inspirations for their events,”Norbert Pýcha, founder of Event Fest.

EXPO

More than 100 event suppliers, agencies, hotels and locations will be presented in the EXPO section. This section will also feature technological innovations such as virtual reality and drone exhibitions. Catering trends or the newest locations for corporate events will be displayed as well.

Guests of the Expo section will be able to listen to presentations by representatives of selected exhibitors and partners who will discuss event topics. The spoken accompanying program will be complemented by artistic and interactive performances.

“At this 3rd instalment of Event Fest, we will use the Cubex Centre Prague´s unique technology: a 360° projection in the main hall. This exclusive technology will be presented at the festival for the first time, allowing guests to witness the premiere of this visual presentation live,” adds Aleš Kužílek, Event Fest Project Manager.

A completely new feature of this year´s EXPO section will be various workshops focused on practical event topics. Guests will be able to register for the accompanying program via a new app, where they will find, for example, the overall festival program, competitions and benefits.

International speakers from Estonia, Belgium and Germany will be presenting at the Event Vision conference. The conference is planned for 150 people.

“Professional events focused directly on event marketing are lacking in our country and it is obvious that they will find their audience. We must educate, inspire and share our experience in this field, involving European event leaders as well,” says Kateřina Horynová, director of Event Fest.
