Over 10,000 Cvent Training and Certification Courses Have Been Taken by More Than 4,000 Event and Hospitality Professionals

Cvent, a market-leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider, today announced that it has trained and certified more than 4,000 marketers, event professionals, and hospitality professionals in Europe and over 42,000 globally, through its robust training and certification programme that has been free to anyone since March 2020. The comprehensive training programme provides industry professionals with the critical knowledge, skills, and insights they need to adapt to the changing environment, enhance their resume, and prepare their organisations for future success.

The company has extended its offer of free Cvent Certifications and free training programmes to anyone in the industry through the end of this year. The company is also offering free registration to its annual user conference Cvent CONNECT Europe, which offers additional Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) credits for more accreditation opportunities. The conference begins tomorrow, 10 Nov, and registration remains open for this live and on-demand event.

Cvent has trained or certified thousands of hospitality professionals at all levels from more than 500 hotel properties and chains such as IHG, Meliá Hotels and Accor. Cvent’s free training and certification offerings have also been embraced by marketing and event professionals from more than 1,000 corporations such as Workday, Cisco, AstraZeneca, and Oracle, more than 130 non-profits and associations, and more than 100 education and government organisations.

Since March, the company has continued to expand its programme by adding new courses and certification opportunities. One of those new offerings is a Cvent Event Diagramming (formerly Social Tables) Certification for hoteliers to learn how to design meeting space layouts to match current safety guidelines. New training opportunities for meeting and event professionals include a robust program for virtual and hybrid events, with Cvent Certifications for virtual events available now and hybrid events coming soon.
