Bea World is an initiative that recognises and promotes excellence in events and live communication across the whole world and takes place in the context of Bea World – The International Festival of Events and Live Communication. Created in 2006 to foster and advance the importance of events in the marketing plans of large and smaller corporations, the Best Event Awards have helped agencies from 40 countries in finding inspiration and new ideas for their events, and are now acknowledged as the main and most challenging international industry recognition.
When it was finally possible again to organize live events, RINGANA wanted even more. A hybrid event as an interconnected experience.
Media Apparat used a 360° approach during the planning phase. The whole event was previously created virtually. Each framing and camera position was already pre-visualized and the whole event was planned as a “virtual production”. A special room concept was created to transform the Salzburg Arena for each part of the event completely. For the main show a 3-stage-setup design, where the focus could shift from one stage to another, was chosen and the room was divided for the other event parts.
A new custom event CI was developed in order to represent the parts of the RINGANA business DNA in different show blocks. The design culminated in an exclusive opening show that introduced the universe of ringana. In fact, the event featured acts, knowledge transfer via experts, product launches and networking for participants. All merged together in a unique online platform.
As special the virtual run was created, a hybrid charity run and the whole event was planned as a green event. Media Apparat was in charge of the whole creative process, the design, staging and directing of the whole event. The objectives were reached as the sales increased to 1Mio directly through the event, 1.6 Mio impressions via the platform and a streaming duration of approximately 4,7 hours each. The attendees also increased over 20% and sustainability was established as a core value.
