Bea World is an initiative that recognises and promotes excellence in events and live communication across the whole world and takes place in the context of Bea World – The International Festival of Events and Live Communication. Created in 2006 to foster and advance the importance of events in the marketing plans of large and smaller corporations, the Best Event Awards have helped agencies from 40 countries in finding inspiration and new ideas for their events, and are now acknowledged as the main and most challenging international industry recognition.
Global Impact Conference 2020 is a non-profitable online event about achieving the United nations’ sustainable development goals and the world’s serious transformation. What happens nowadays in the world – recent social, economic, climate changes make us find a way to a sustainable future. We know that nobody can achieve these goals alone and that there is great power in collaboration. On December 1-2, 2020 the Global Impact Conference united those seeking insights into how to change the world, corporations who become more and more responsible and actually have resources to create real change and also government institutions that transform their countries. We are building a community for social partnership in solving global problems
The pandemic made it very clear that there are huge gaps never existed before and that we have to do something about it. A year ago, we were one of the first ESG conferences and here we are. Nowadays a lot of people discuss how to make the world a better place and it’s actually a good thing because first, they discuss, then they act and then it makes a real difference.
Online events compete for attention with TV shows, so we analysed a lot of international online events and we knew – to get people’s attention to very important social problems, we should do something better than just call speakers through Zoom. Our video shows that we put a lot of effort to bring all speakers to one stage (86 speakers from all over the world) and made it look good so we can have attention to what’s really important. We created the whole conference from zero and attracted 28 000 people to attend and more than 6.5 million PR coverage.
