The Portugal Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, in collaboration with MAZE FX, a company specialized in events, digital and immersive content, which has been leading the world of major virtual and hybrid events, with more than 80 events held with major brands international organizations, organized a Metaverse workshop, with the aim of presenting ideas and solutions about the post-pandemic future and presenting the evolutions of production of immersive formats and content in the real, virtual and hybrid environment, including the evolution to controlled Metaverse, with practical ideas. of what brands and companies can do right now in this still-in-the-making area.

The event was attended by business guests from the area of ​​events, communication and marketing of several international brands, present in the Middle East.

The Portuguese and Brazilian company, with offices in São Paulo, Lisbon and Dubai, teased visitors to Expo Dubai about immersive experiences and concepts with metaverse technology, which international companies such as Facebook, Microsoft and others have already started to use and focus on, especially because the technology industry is looking for new solutions to keep up with a changing market.

Participants from content creators and companies working in the metaverse area highlighted that the future is moving strongly towards the virtual world, defying reality, with the possibility of holding Mixed Reality meetings as well as several other practical examples presented, in the areas of events, health, automobile and cultural.

Emphasis was also placed on absorbing the metaverse through elements: experimentation, exploration, digital economy.
