Major international scientific meetings have begun to return to Ljubljana, including the MSOA 2020 conference – the biennial meeting of the Mediterranean Association of Otorhinolaryngologists – which took place in the city from 24 to 27 March.
The MSOA 2020 conference was attended by about 170 otorhinolaryngologists. It took place live, which Ljubljana Tourism considers being a great success in the given circumstances. It was supposed to take place two years ago, but it was postponed due to the pandemic.
Study visit hosted by Ljubljana Tourism
The Ljubljana Convention Bureau also participated in the organisation and implementation of the first study visit to Ljubljana this year. Agents, members of Signature Network, one of the most prestigious associations in tourism in the USA, spent two days in Ljubljana. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with the destination’s comprehensive offer, from its congress facilities to its cultural, culinary and other experiences. They concluded the visit with a gala dinner at the City Museum.
