Felix Baumgartner marking the occasion

A helicopter show featuring the legend of Austrian aviation, Felix Baumgartner, known for his jump from the edge of space, was the highlight of the ceremony. After performing spectacular air stunts, he landed before the factory building with a huge key to symbolically open the new facility accompanied by the company representatives and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

The ceremony took place outdoors, in front of the factory, all day long from morning till evening. It was kicked off by a formal address to distinguished invitees, followed by a photo session with the hosts and a jumbo birthday card signing. The events on the stage began with a footage mix, showing a drone flying through the FACC headquarters in Austria and live aerial views over the Croatian production plant, made by drone master Raffael Portugal.
