New promotional video: Meet us in the extraordinary

Meeting Destination Vienna has released a new promotional video. In 60 seconds, Vienna – the world’s most livable city – reveals how it combines tradition and modernity, while offering countless advantages for meeting participants along the way.

The Austrian capital stands out from the crowd thanks to its exceptional amenities and infrastructure, relatively compact size, reliable standards and incredible range of cultural attractions. Vienna combines its rich imperial heritage with everything that a modern, forward-looking city with impeccable quality of life has to offer. All of these different factors are given center stage in the new Meeting Destination Vienna promotional video. Entitled “Meet us in the extraordinary”, it shows participants in everyday meeting situations in out-of-the ordinary locations.

Uniquely diverse

It goes from the Albertina to the Burgtheater, taking in the Spanish Riding School and Old Danube with the Vienna skyline in the background. The Butterfly house, Prater park and the vineyards on the Nussberg hill – with Vienna at its feet – also feature. These locations were selected as they clearly underline Vienna’s diversity as a meeting destination: Vienna as a capital of culture, a contemporary capital brimming with history and tradition, and a green city for participants and organizers to enjoy after a meeting.

Moving to the beat of the waltz

The soundtrack comes courtesy of another Viennese original: the waltz represents Vienna like no other music. Exuding joy and levity, it is the perfect accompaniment for Meeting Destination Vienna: in short, Vienna makes it easy for organizers to select the Austrian capital as the destination for their next meeting. Through the professionalism of the venues and service providers, the sheer range of options and the fact that everything is only a relatively short distance away. On top of that, the music underscores just how naturally unusual experiences come to Vienna.

The aim of the new promotional video is to show a side to Vienna that people may not be aware of. Instead of purely providing information in video form, the 60-second feature is designed to surprise and inspire viewers. It will appear as part of cooperations with specialist international media, and on social media.
