It all started with the global domination of Google, now responsible for 84% of all searches worldwide. Microsoft’s Bing, on the other hand, amounts to only 9%. That bitterness led Microsoft to develop and invest in one of the most controversial and high-profile artificial intelligence programmes, ChatGPT. Microsoft will aim to incorporate it into their browser, having announced they will invest 10 billion dollars into the OpenAI company.
ChatGPT is a type of Siri on steroids that is formidably capable. It bases its answers on a broad collection of knowledge. Thus, ChatGPT confidently answers your questions, writes poetry and is keen on programming. The platform offers a clear insight into the future of our collaboration with artificial intelligence. Only a few days after its launch, ChatGPT saw a record number of users.
I must admit I have been fascinated by OpenAI for some time. In that respect, the endless possibilities offered by ChatGPT positively surprised me. Although texts written by ChatGPT may not open doors in pursuing an academic career, the overall platform is thought-out and convinces the average user. However, when citing references, ChatGPT often fabricates sources. That prompts the question of regulating artificial intelligence by law. In the future, this question will be on our daily agenda.

ChatGPT can be used as a chatbot or, more importantly, to create tailored content for marketing campaigns. My only fear is that the platform will render texts too generic.
To test the might of the platform, we asked ChatGPT the following question: How to use ChatGPT for organising events?
The answer was:
ChatGPT is a chatbot for event planning and scheduling that helps businesses reduce the time it takes to coordinate an event. The bot can generate an event overview, suggest venues, give recommendations on catering, help to book space and schedule required services, and even provide insight on budget and cost considerations.
To use ChatGPT, first register an account online. Once registered, you will gain access to the event dashboard and be able to find the right venue for the event you’re organising. Through the dashboard, you’re able to communicate, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the event through the bots. With ChatGPT’s ability to communicate with multiple vendors, it can help you save time and money when searching for the best deals on catering, decorations, services, etc.
You can also use ChatGPT’s calendar feature to create a timeline for the event and to track reminders, deadlines, payment dates, etc. ………….

We look forward to your opinion regarding the tool, as the topic will undoubtedly continue dividing opinions in the future. You are invited to share your experiences with ChatGPT thus far and help other event organisers.
