Feedback following a strong edition of IMEX Frankfurt in May shows that recent technology and customer journey improvements measurably increased satisfaction ratings and NPS scores in several areas. This sets the stage for an even better business and networking experience for those attending IMEX America, October 8 – 10 who will benefit from the same system developments.
This year’s show is being designed to respond to several big market influences, including changing attendee behaviours, ongoing budgetary constraints and technology investment.

The increased competition for peak days is impacting those with tight budgets, compressing the options they have available. A Business Practices education track at IMEX America will address this and dozens of other reality checks currently facing busy event planners.
The growing recognition of technology’s role in enhancing event design and the attendee experience is apparent in a recent survey by Northstar/Cvent Meetings. Their Meetings Industry PULSE Survey shows a remarkable 42 per cent of planners have increased their spending on meetings/event tech and tech support this year. At IMEX America, technology will be tackled in a highly practical way with the opportunity for one-to-one support from exhibitors as well as learning sessions dedicated to AI, data and future innovations.
A show with Impact
Exhibitor appetite for IMEX America is already strong across all sectors, particularly North and South America, as well as the global hotel groups. Big-name industry partners will be returning with new activations including Google Xi and Encore.
Last year the show attracted over 3,400 exhibiting companies from 150+ countries and over 5,300 buyers. This year, the IMEX Impact Talking Point shines through with the show designed to ensure planners have the tools, knowledge and contacts to deliver meaningful events which initiate change and cause positive ripple effects.
