MODERN ARCHITECTURE IN RAGUSA
Perched above Banje Beach in the Ploče district, the Museum of Modern Art Dubrovnik (MoMAD) offers a distinguished blend of contemporary architecture, artistic ambience, and Adriatic vistas. The unique ambience renders it a compelling venue for private and corporate gatherings. Housed since 1948 in the neo‑Renaissance Banac Palace, originally erected in the 1930s by shipowner Božo Banac, MoMAD is both a cultural monument and an elegant event space designed by architects Lavoslav Horvat and Harold Bilinić.

A second-floor terrace is ideal for events of 50–100 guests, while indoor spaces offer flexible back-up or exhibition-ready areas. Combined indoor capacity for seating and exhibitions ranges around 150–180 guests, depending on the layout.

The museum features around 3,000 artworks, including works by the renowned sculptors Ivan Meštrović and Robert Frangeš-Mihanović. The venue’s elevated terraces, elegant galleries, and rich cultural backdrop make it a compelling choice for gatherings, courtesy of the contemporary art adorning the walls.
