A ROYAL HOTEL ON THE STREET OF TWO KINGS
LOCATION
According to many locals in Belgrade, the true city centre of the Serbian capital is in the Vračar district. The highest point of Belgrade is home to the Church of Saint Sava, which remains the symbolic heart of the city. Vračar experienced its most exponential growth after WWI, and the spirit of those times still lingers in the streets of this district. Once the most affluent part of the city centre, Vračar remains a sought-after location for new investments and projects. In recent years, it has undergone a comprehensive and thoughtful urban renovation that further reinforced its appeal and reputation. The excellent location was one of the reasons the investors behind Hilton’s outpost in Belgrade chose to build the hotel within spitting distance of the legendary Slavija Square, a symbol of the bustling city centre and one of the key traffic crossroads in Belgrade. In 2025, Slavija Square will be reinvigorated. The local authorities will improve the traffic accessibility, provide more green surfaces and construct modern infrastructure. From the hotel, guests can easily reach the landmarks, cultural institutions and business centres. All this makes Hilton one of the most strategically located hotels in Belgrade.

ACCESSIBILITY
The strategic location of Hilton Belgrade ensures superb accessibility. Apart from the occasional traffic jams during rush hours, emblematic of any metropolis, arriving with various modes of transport is simple and effective. The key advantages include a modern underground parking garage with 281 parking spaces. That is a rarity in hotels in the heart of town. The price is reasonable, too, at 21 EUR per day. Guests arriving with electric vehicles can enjoy peace of mind thanks to electric charging stations.
Directly in front of the main entrance, guests will find a bus and tram stop that will take them to any part of town. Most of the key landmarks, business centres and cultural points are accessible on foot, saving time and beckoning guests to enjoy relaxed strolls. For international guests, the burgeoning air connectivity of Belgrade Airport is a serious advantage. The Nikola Tesla Airport has grown in recent years, solidifying its role as a key traffic hub in the Western Balkans. Hilton combines superb accessibility and location with comfort and the vibrance of the Serbian capital.

COLD STARTER - Architecture and aesthetics
Hilton Belgrade is not an attention-seeker, yet it still manages to turn heads with subtle beauty. It resembles a tailored men’s suit that never goes out of fashion.
The construction of the hotel began in April 2016, and the final result attests to the quality of execution and architectural approach. All building materials are prestigious and sustainable. The designers wanted the property to exude timeless elegance. The design is confident yet minimal, featuring clear lines, balanced proportions and warm brown hues that exude comfort and refined opulence. Hilton Belgrade is not an attention-seeker, yet it still manages to turn heads with subtle beauty. It resembles a tailored men’s suit that never goes out of fashion. In other words, this hotel looks like a Hilton. The excellent design has also stood the test of time, as it appears almost brand new.
The interior was crafted with attention to detail. Natural materials, textures and colour-coordinated surfaces dominate the facilities. The only downside is the hotel corridors, which appear somewhat closed off due to dark colours. However, this feeling is counterbalanced by stunning public spaces with ambient lighting. In step with the times, the hotel features an energy-optimised illumination and heating system that enables energy efficiency and a high level of comfort for guests. The hotel feels compact and thought-out. As said, it is a typical Hilton that does not disappoint with its architecture or interior design.

WARM ENTRÉE - The staff and the culinary experience
The trump card is the personnel. They proved even more convincing on our second visit. Educated and trained according to the highest Hilton standards, they stand out from their peers thanks to authentic Serbian hospitality. You can feel this genuine approach at every step, from the front desk to the porters and restaurant servers. The service is consistent, warm, and attentive, without exception. We must laud the head concierge, Arandjel: he replies to messages instantly, double-checks the logistics before arrival, organises shuttle transport (even for large groups or families) and curates city tours.
Hilton Belgrade’s hidden asset is the top-floor SkyLounge, recommended in the Michelin Guide to Serbia in 2025.
The gastronomy lives up to the expectations of the Hilton brand. The breakfast was scrumptious, with a noticeable emphasis on local ingredients and the fusion of local and international flavours. It can easily be named among the city’s finest. Humorous and attentive waiters make dining experiences at Two Kings Restaurant a unique experience. The Executive Lounge is ideal for snacks or light meals, while the spa is the perfect choice on cloudy days. Hilton Belgrade’s hidden asset is the top-floor SkyLounge, recommended in the Michelin Guide to Serbia in 2025. It earned its spot in the esteemed guide thanks to its urban cuisine with Asian influences and cityscape views. Hilton Belgrade also offers a flexible culinary offering that complements events. The well-versed team can resolve any problem with discretion and professionalism. The team spirit is what creates trust here and is what sets Hilton Belgrade apart from its competitors.
P.S. The hotel is spotless and excellently maintained.

MAIN COURSE – The meetings offering at the hotel
Hotel rooms
The room is compact but well-designed and kitted out in traditional Hilton style. The interior is dominated by bright pastel hues that complement the dark-brown massive wood furniture. The padded dark-brown headboard with elegant golden details draws attention, enriched by black-and-white photos that contribute to the classic, timeless impression. The flooring is covered by a comfortable, warm carpet with an elegant pattern. Next to the spacious panoramic window, the lounger with a miniature club table presents the ideal space for relaxation and reading. We must laud the compact writing desk with a cosy chair. Business guests will appreciate this work area with an abundance of space for a laptop and any work-related documents. The gigantic panoramic window adds spaciousness and floods the room with natural light. As expected of a Hilton room, the bathroom is world-class and features quality Verbena cosmetics. We must praise the excellent bed and the complex lighting that is intuitive and easy to manage. The black-and-white photos are a lovely detail that rounds off the positive experience in the room.
Meetings centre
The centrepiece of the hotel is a refined conference centre designed for modern business events. The Tsar Dušan Ballroom, stretching 401 square metres, is eye-catching with its high ceilings and abundance of natural daylight; it can accommodate up to 526 attendees in a theatre setting (we estimate around 390 can fit into the hall). The offering is rounded off by three multipurpose salons and an elegant meeting room. These five rooms cover 606 square metres. All the halls have natural daylight and built-in AV equipment, making them suitable for demanding productions. The logistics are made effortless thanks to an underground parking garage with direct access to the hotel’s foyer. The outdoor Oasis Garden is ideal for coffee breaks and receptions. Thanks to a combination of spaciousness, technical equipment and location, the Hilton Belgrade is among the most adaptable meeting locations in the heart of the city.

DESSERT – The extras
The Oasis Garden, a stunning external terrace next to the conference centre, is one of the hotel’s competitive advantages. Covering 450 square metres, the garden provides an ideal setting for coffee breaks and cocktail receptions for up to 300 attendees. It invites event organisers to organise more creative event formats, if the weather holds up.

FLOP – NEGATIVE SURPRISES
Managing the air conditioning is still tricky because the system is not always responsive. Luckily, we managed to set it the way we wanted. One hairsplitting remark also concerns the room: if you stay in a room on the top floors, you might be disturbed by the noise from the SkyLounge.
TOP – POSITIVE SURPRISES
During our last visit, we extolled the conference centre. Nothing has changed since – the conference centre is exceptionally spacious and features impressive high ceilings. The centrepiece is the outdoor terrace, unmatched for hosting inspiring coffee breaks in warm months. The functional design enables the privatisation of the conference centre. It also has a stunning design from a security aspect.
SUSTAINABLE ENDEAVOURS
Hilton Belgrade takes sustainability seriously, as demonstrated by its Green Key certificate, which it received in 2019, becoming the third Serbian hotel to have won this prestigious accolade. In practice, this means they systematically reduce their environmental impact: the building operates according to the LightStay programme, which helps track and reduce energy and water use and manage waste. Geothermal systems and heat pumps are at the core of their green operations. The entire hotel uses 100% LED lights with sensorics, while the smart faucets and water appliances help reduce water consumption. The guests can take advantage of the on-site electric vehicle charging stations and use their Digital Key upon arrival. That reduces the need to use plastic cards. All these activities prove that Hilton Belgrade not only brags about its endeavours, but also walks the talk in a way that benefits the environment and the guests.

FINAL IMPRESSION AND CREDIBILITY
Since its opening, it has reaffirmed its position as one of the finest and most reliable properties in Belgrade’s hospitality scene.
Hilton Belgrade feels as though it has been in the city for decades, even though only seven years have passed since it welcomed its first guests. Since its opening, it has reaffirmed its position as one of the finest and most reliable properties in Belgrade’s hospitality scene. When it first opened, it set the bar high. Today, these standards are even higher. Originally, we noted that this is a pureblood Hilton with a pedigree and fresh energy. Today, we can state that this is a hotel that is impossible to overlook, especially for guests who cherish recognisable features of global hotel brands.
The competition is fierce, but the hotel stands out with its price policy: although the prices are not the lowest, they are reasonable. The prices help Hilton Belgrade go toe-to-toe with the newest faces on the block. To boot, the number of hotel rooms matches the conference capacities. In a few words, Hilton Belgrade is a well-balanced hotel.
