Renovated wine cellars for events
Under Pezinok’s impressive chateau, Zámocké Vinárstvo has revived winemaking and events. In 2015, Slovakian winemakers revamped a 13th-century castle cellar. Here, old architecture meets modern winemaking methods. Event organisers can host guided wine tours and private events in the large underground cellars.
The chateau’s wine cellars were restored with a forward-thinking plan. Above ground, the chateau features an art gallery, a boutique hotel, and restaurants. All are set within a renewed park. Zámocké Vinárstvo offers event spaces, from historic tasting rooms to wine cellars, for gatherings of 40 to 60 guests. For larger affairs, the chateau’s indoor and outdoor areas serve up to 100 guests. The venue hosts wine evenings, exclusive launches, or thematic cultural programs.
The venue also gives back to the local community with a curated calendar of events, including “Open Cellar Day,” “Taste of the Little Carpathians,” and seasonal gatherings like “Summer Wine and Grill Evenings.” These events transform the chateau spaces into lively hubs for the locals.
