BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) has expanded its Congress Practice Area into mainland Europe to meet rising demand for congress services in the life sciences sector.

The expansion follows a recent global contract win with a leading pharmaceutical company spanning 30 countries, further reinforcing BCD M&E’s ability to manage complex congress operations while adapting to local market needs. It also brings new team members into both the Congress Practice Area and Life Sciences vertical, strengthening support for clients across the region.

BCD M&E’s global Congress Practice Area is dedicated to the life sciences industry with services including project management, delegate housing and registration, compliance support, exhibit and sponsorship management and budget oversight. The team includes more than 175 congress specialists who manage more than 300 global events every year.

“Expanding our Congress Practice Area into EMEA allows us to offer congress management services tailored to the unique demands of the life sciences sector,” said Mikael Ek, Managing Director, EMEA, BCD M&E. “This allows us to combine global expertise with local knowledge to deliver services tailored to each market.”
