“Our investment in a central, scalable IT infrastructure is a clear commitment to the digital future of our hotels,” says Sunčani Hvar’s IT director. “Together with m3connect, we have created a system that keeps us at the forefront of technology today and in the future and offers our guests a world-class experience.”
Uniform IT structure for eight hotels
The new infrastructure is based on a compact data centre with a security access gateway that connects all locations via a powerful Wi-Fi 6 network. The architecture is fully IoT-ready and can be administered centrally—a clear step toward efficiency, reliability, and scalability. The IT department can control all systems across locations, roll out new services group-wide, and respond more quickly to technical requirements.
Seamless guest experience – systematically standardized
A central WiFi portal with automatic relogin has been implemented for guests, enabling a consistent user experience across all hotels. This is complemented by a centrally controlled Chromecast solution that allows secure access to personal content, regardless of the hotel location. User interfaces and the streaming environment have been fully adapted to the group’s corporate design.
Scalable platform – ready for the next stage of digitalisation
The new system landscape reduces complexity, minimises maintenance costs, and creates scope for future digital applications – for example, in the areas of smart room controls, networked building technology, or energy-efficient building management.
“This project shows what is possible when IT is conceived not as an individual measure but as a group-wide strategy,” says Emilio Dragas, Managing Director of m3connect GmbH. “We are delighted to have created an infrastructure with Sunčani Hvar that unites eight hotels into a single digital system and paves the way for tomorrow’s innovations.”
